Tony Thacker has over 10 years of experience in the military and government sector. Tony began their career in 2010 as a Battalion Commander for the U.S. Army, where they were responsible for advising, training, and equipping Afghan security forces. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as the G39 Operations Chief for Third Army/ARCENT, where they planned and organized operations between Civil Authorities and Army Central Command in 23 countries. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Branch Chief for U.S. Army Special Operations Command, managing career tracks, assessing branch strengths and weaknesses, and developing tools for talent management. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as the J33CA for USSOCOM, and from 2016 to 2020, they were the Civil Affairs Operations Division Chief for USCENTCOM. In 2020, they took on the role of Vice President for i3solutions.
Tony Thacker has three degrees in their educational history. Tony first obtained a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Troy University between 2003 and 2004. Tony then acquired a Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College between 2005 and 2006. Finally, they received a Masters in national security strategy and Policy from the Navy War College between 2013 and 2014.
