Sonia Bhatia

Sonia believes that events are the most powerful tool for creating a strong brand and engaged community. Sonia is a racialized woman who works from an intersectional framework.

Currently, Sonia holds the position of Advisor, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Langara College. Before Langara College, she worked in the non-profit sector for several years where event management and communications were always a strategic focus.

She is thrilled to be joining the dynamic and talented team at IABC/BC and is looking forward to the opportunity to give back, growing her network and learning.
