Michael Protzmann

Michael Protzmann is an experienced professional in project management, currently serving as Vice President Land at IABG since April 2010. Michael holds multiple leadership roles including Head of Platforms and Operations Land and Head of the Project Management Office. Expertise includes project management in the defense and security sector, modeling and simulation, operations research, consulting, innovation management, crowdsourcing, and process engineering. Prior to IABG, Michael served as an officer in the Bundeswehr from October 1995 to March 2009, where responsibilities included Company Commander of Mountain Infantry and various officer roles involving foreign deployments and military training. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the European School of Business, a Dipl. Wirtschaftsinformatiker from Bundeswehr University Munich, and several project management certifications including PRINCE2 Foundation and IPMA Level B and D.
