Michael Schneider

Michael Schneider has extensive experience in quality management and program consultancy, particularly within the space division. Currently serving as Head of Department at IABG since April 2011, Michael oversees project organization, contract negotiation, and management for the National Surveillance Organisation (NSO), which facilitates quality monitoring services for the European Launcher Systems Ariane and Vega under ESA's delegation. Previous roles include Team Leader and Project Manager at IABG, where responsibilities encompassed surveillance of critical components for Ariane and Vega. Michael's background includes a position in intellectual property management at MTU Aero Engines and a decade-long career in the Bundeswehr as a logistic and maintenance officer. Michael holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Aerospace Engineering from Bundeswehr University Munich and several certifications in project management and quality management from TÜV Süd.
