Akhil K.

Akhil K. is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in information security and forensics. Currently serving as a Lead Security Engineer at IAC since June 2017, Akhil has previously held roles as a Senior Information Security Analyst and SOC Analyst. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at George Mason University, where Akhil studied CAN network protocols and designed a lightweight encryption algorithm, as well as a Teaching Assistant. Earlier experience includes a research internship at the Defense Research and Development Organization, where Akhil independently designed a web browser with a phishing filter. Akhil holds two Master's degrees in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Information Security from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Maharishi Arvind Institute of Engineering and Technology.
