Parth Bhakta

CEO, NurseFly at IAC

Parth Bhakta is the CEO of NurseFly at IAC and has been in the software development industry for over ten years. Parth started their career as an intern at Sony Mobile Communications in March 2011 and worked there for a year before moving on to Startups. In January 2013, they co-founded Kiwi, a social Q&A app that allows users to express their opinions and be entertained. The app was downloaded over 25 million times and ranked higher than Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat in terms of app downloads per day. In 2015 and 2016, Parth sold their stake in Kiwi to new investors who pursued a new direction for the business. Today, Kiwi is a $2bn enterprise AI company called Hive AI.

Parth Bhakta graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy with a master of science degree. Parth then went on to receive a bachelor's degree in symbolic systems from Stanford University. After working for a few years, they decided to return to school to pursue a career in computer science. Parth is currently enrolled in the Stanford University computer science program.

Parth Bhakta reports to Joey Levin, CEO. They are on a team with Michael Schwerdtman - SVP, Controller, Marissa Wilson Gibbons & Casey Gibbons - Co-Founders and Co-CEOs, Newco, and Tim Allen - CEO, Care.com.
