Seun Eisape is a GEM PhD Fellow at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, presently engaging as a visiting researcher at the SCALE '24 Workshop focused on multimodal video event retrieval. With extensive experience as an IAC Fellow and a research assistant at Haverford College, Seun has contributed to significant projects, including training transformers for machine translation and developing novel ablation studies for model interpretability. Previous roles include managing a team as Co-Head of BLAST Technicians, participating in access and diversity initiatives, and engaging in research across various institutions, including Swarthmore College and Boston College, focusing on cognitive science and language development. Seun holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Haverford College and is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at UC Berkeley.
