Chad Duty

Chad Duty is a seasoned professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at IACMI – The Composites Institute since October 2022 and having been the Chief Executive Officer-Elect prior. Chad Duty holds a position as a Professor at the University of Tennessee since August 2015, previously serving as an Associate Professor. Earlier in the career, Chad Duty worked as Senior Research Staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from May 2004 to July 2015. Academically, Chad Duty earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
