John Unser

John Unser is an experienced professional in the composites industry, currently serving as VP of Program/Project Management at Composite Applications Group since November 2020, where focus is on providing composite solutions for OEMs. Additionally, John holds the position of Technology Impact Manager at The Composites Institute, managing a portfolio of technical R&D projects supporting advanced polymer composites. Prior experience includes roles at Caterpillar, where John oversaw material specifications and new product implementation, and held various engineering positions at Firefly Energy, GMI Composites, and Composite Products Inc. John Unser holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Maryville University of Saint Louis.
