Anne Wright is an experienced educator and software developer with a strong background in computing and applied psychology. Currently a lecturer at the IADT: Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology since 2002, Anne focuses on promoting computer science among secondary school students and advocating for equality and gender balance in computing and STEM fields. Previously, Anne served as Programme Chair for the B.Sc. (Hons) in Applied Psychology at the National College of Ireland and held various academic roles, including Programme Director and Associate Lecturer in Computing. Early career experiences include positions as a C++ Software Developer at Amdahl Corp. and Interactive Enterprise, where Anne contributed to software development and quality control processes. Anne holds a Master's degree in Computing, Web and Database Development from Griffith College Dublin, along with additional qualifications in IT training and a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Computing.
