Jane Buggle

Jane Buggle is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Institute Librarian at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology since May 2021. Additionally, Jane holds several leadership roles, including Executive Board Member at AISHE-J, Convenor for the Library Publishing Special Interest Group of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions, and Co-Manager for the Irish Open Access Publishers. Jane also chairs the Library Publishing Group of the Library Association of Ireland and serves as a Senior Editor and Advisory Board Member for the DBS Business Review, an open access journal. With a robust academic background and a focus on library publishing, Jane has contributed significantly to various organizations and initiatives, including the Library Council of Ireland and the National Organising Committee for the IFLA World Library and Information Congress 2022. Jane's educational qualifications include a Master's in Library and Information Studies from University College Dublin and a postgraduate diploma from University College London.
