Vinny Murphy

Vinny Murphy is an experienced educator and creative professional in the field of screen acting and screenwriting, currently serving as a Lecturer in Screen Acting at The Lir - National Academy of Dramatic Art, Ireland since 2012. Murphy has held various teaching roles, including lecturer positions at Dublin Institute of Technology and IADT: Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, while also directing, screenwriting, composing, and acting for film through theScreenProject since 2008. Additional teaching experience includes roles at Digital Skills Academy and Trinity College Dublin, alongside a long-standing commitment to community engagement through a group drumming event since 1985.
