The International Association for Development of Unmanned Systems (IADUS) is a non-profit international platform serving as a neutral coordination and development hub for unmanned systems across defence and civilian domains.

The full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine and the resulting high-intensity warfare in Europe have clearly demonstrated that unmanned systems have become a decisive element of modern defence, resilience, and deterrence. Compared to conventional solutions, unmanned capabilities have shown increased effectiveness, adaptability, and cost-efficiency in complex operational contexts.

Today, unmanned systems are an indispensable component of both national and multinational defence and security architectures. Their relevance also extends well beyond defence, encompassing critical civilian sectors such as infrastructure protection, emergency response, logistics, environmental monitoring, and industrial applications.

IADUS contributes to the responsible development, integration, and adoption of unmanned capabilities by facilitating structured cooperation between public authorities, industry, research institutions, and expert communities.

The Association focuses on research, innovation, interoperability, knowledge exchange, education, and capacity-building, while supporting coordination, alignment, and scaling of initiatives initiated by its members and partners within the unmanned systems ecosystem.
