Marc Ménard

Marc Mitjans, PhD, is a Senior Robotics Engineer at Symbotic, specializing in perception, localization, and mapping since October 2024. Previously, Marc served as a Doctoral Researcher at Boston University, where innovative advancements in visual-inertial odometry and automated human mobility assessments were achieved. Experience spans internships and engineer roles at notable companies, including Motional, where a deep learning pipeline for vehicle dynamics was developed, and GreenSight, focusing on autonomous drone technology. Marc's educational background includes a PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Boston University, complemented by multiple master's degrees in Automatic Control & Robotics and Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
