Aaron Barry is a Spent Fuel Management Specialist at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since October 2025, focusing on spent nuclear fuel storage, transportation, data management, ageing management, and recycling. Previously, Aaron served as an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces from July 2008 to July 2015 and worked as an R&D Scientist in fuel development at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories from July 2015 to February 2020, conducting post-irradiation examinations and managing spent nuclear fuel inventory. Aaron's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the Royal Military College of Canada, a Master of Science in Nuclear Science from the same institution, and currently pursuing a PhD in Nuclear Engineering at Ontario Tech University.
