Chadia Rizk

Chadia Rizk has extensive experience in the field of radiation protection and education, serving as the Technical Manager of the Individual Monitoring Services Laboratory at the Lebanese Atomic Energy Commission-CNRS from May 2005 to September 2023. Rizk held academic positions as a Professor at both Université La Sagesse and Saint Joseph University of Beirut, contributing to the education of students until June 2023. In October 2023, Rizk began working as a Radiation Protection Specialist with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Additionally, Rizk has experience as a Science Teacher at Saint Charbel School and La Sagesse School from 2004 to 2007, and played leadership roles within the Asia and the Pacific Regional ALARA Network (ARAN) as Acting Chair and Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee. Rizk's educational background includes a Doctor of Science degree in Radiation Protection/Medical Physics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut and a Master's degree in Material Science & Electronic Components from Lebanese University.
