Danas Ridikas

Danas Ridikas is the Head of the Physics Section at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), where they previously served as a Research Reactor Officer specializing in infrastructure and capacity building from 2016 to 2017, and in utilization and applications from 2008 to 2016. Prior to their tenure at IAEA, Danas worked at CEA as the Head of a group and as a researcher from 2005 to 2008. They hold a Doctor Habilitation Degree in Nuclear Physics from Université de Caen Basse Normandie, a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Université de Caen Normandie, and dual MSc degrees in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Central European University and Physics from the University of Bergen. Danas earned their BSc in Physics from Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas from 1991 to 1994.
