David Moroz is a public service executive specializing in international security and safeguards. They served as the Director General of the Directorate of Security and Safeguards at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission from 2015 to 2023 and have held multiple leadership roles within the International Atomic Energy Agency since 2018. Prior to their time at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, they worked with Natural Resources Canada and the Permanent Mission of Canada to various international organizations. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania, while also serving as the Chair of the Management Board for the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency.
