Dimitar Dimitrov

Dimitar Dimitrov serves as the Rector of the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria, where they also hold a professorship specializing in Security and Defence Economics. They have contributed to various academic and professional settings, including serving as a Secretary General of the Council of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions in Bulgaria and as a Visiting Fellow at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. Dimitar's research focuses on arms trade, defense budgeting, and nuclear security, having been involved with the IAEA's Nuclear Security Support Centers and Master Programme on Nuclear Security.
