Eric Mathet

Eric Mathet is a Senior Nuclear Engineer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), specializing in nuclear infrastructure development since 2019. Previously, they held various engineering roles, including Head of Licensing and Nuclear Safety at ATMEA from 2011 to 2019, where they managed licensing for the ATMEA1 reactor and implemented post-Fukushima strategies. Eric began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at IRSN from 1990 to 1997 and later served as a Safety Officer at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission and OECD. They obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon in 1988.
