Janeth Mora

Janeth Mora is a researcher at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since February 2022, focusing on developing and applying protocols for quantifying plastics in marine environments for member countries. Previously, Janeth served as an Adaptation to Climate Change Specialist and other roles at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) from 2013 to May 2022, concentrating on climate change adaptation, risk analysis, and environmental policy. Experience also includes work with Galapagos National Park on climate change impact assessments and involvement in greenhouse gas inventories. Janeth holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Eötvös Loránd University, emphasizes climate finance, project management, and business administration in earlier educational pursuits.
