Jerson Reyes, Ph.D., currently serves as the Head of the Department of Information, Energy Innovation and Institutional Affairs at the Comisión Nacional de Energía since October 2022. Extensive experience includes a role as a Consultant in Energy Planning Strategy for the International Atomic Energy Agency and as a Project Manager for various energy-related initiatives. Additionally, Jerson holds a professorship in Electrical Engineering at Universidad de Santiago de Chile and leads the Energy Development Equitative and Sustainable Committee at Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile. Previous positions include Head of Unit at the Comisión Nacional de Energía and roles at Comision Chilena de Energia Nuclear, along with advisory work in energy policy and planning for the Chilean government.
