Jim MALONE

Jim Malone is the Robert Boyle Professor (Emeritus) of Medical Physics at Trinity College Dublin and serves as a Consultant Radiation Protection Expert with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). They have held numerous prestigious roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Trinity College and Head of Medical Physics and Bioengineering at St. James's Hospital, where they developed a department that grew significantly and became a main teaching center for medical physicists in Ireland. Malone has contributed extensively to the field through over 300 publications, numerous presentations, and participation in various corporate boards and committees. Currently, they remain active in research and education, with wide interests in the humanities.
