Liz Grindrod

Radiation Protection Training Officer

Liz Grindrod has extensive experience in radiation protection and consultancy, having worked for Public Health England from September 1991 to November 2019 in various roles, including Radiation Protection Adviser and Group Leader for consultancy services. Liz Grindrod's expertise also includes serving as a Project Officer at Bundesamt fuer Strahlenschutz from July 1995 to December 1996, where responsibilities included overseeing the 1995-96 Intercomparison of Whole Body Monitors. Since March 2021, Liz Grindrod has held the position of Radiation Protection Training Officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency, focusing on the development of education and training infrastructure for radiation protection. Liz Grindrod's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Leeds and an Award in Education and Training from York College, as well as a Certificate of Secondary Education from Mercedes College in Western Australia.
