Michel Warnau

Michel Warnau is the Section Head at the IAEA Technical Cooperation Department, bringing over 16 years of experience with the UN as professional staff. Michel has coordinated international technical cooperation programs and led research in marine ecology, previously serving as the Head of the Radioecology Laboratory at IAEA-Environment Laboratories and as Section Head for the TC Division for Africa. Michel's extensive research background includes over 160 published articles and numerous expert missions across various national and international institutions. Michel holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology with a focus on marine biology and radioecology from Universite Libre de Bruxelles, where they are currently pursuing their degree.
