Stefan Probst

Stefan Probst is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in security and information technology. Currently serving as Team Leader for Safeguards IT Platforms and Applications at the International Atomic Energy Agency since October 2021, Stefan has previously held significant leadership roles at the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators and the IAEA. With a solid background in IT security engineering and architecture, including key projects in authorization management and secure data transfer, Stefan has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at FH Hagenberg and FH St. Pölten. Prior roles include program management at Siemens and a technical position at CERN, where Stefan gained valuable insights into high-energy physics. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Technical Computer Science from Johannes Kepler University Linz and a Diplom in Software Engineering from FH Hagenberg.
