Stéphane Baude is currently the Director of the Safeguards Information Management Division at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a position held since 2023. Previously, Stéphane served as Deputy Director for International Affairs at CEA from 1998 to 2006, and held various roles within CEA including Programme Manager for Non-Proliferation and Monitoring and Head of Analytical Laboratory. Between 2006 and 2010, Stéphane was the Nuclear Counsellor and Head of the IAEA Section at the Permanent Mission of France in Vienna. Stéphane is pursuing a Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry at Université Pierre et Marie Curie and has also studied at Sciences Po Bordeaux and CHEAD.
