Organized in 1928 as the National Association of Exposition Managers to represent the interests of tradeshow and exposition managers, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ is today the leading association for the global exhibition industry. Today IAEE™ represents over 12,000 individuals who conduct and support exhibitions around the world. The Washington, D.C. Chapter encompasses IAEE members within D.C., Virginia and Maryland.

The Washington D.C. Chapter of IAEE draws it strengths from its members.  As the epicenter of the association world, our membership is distinguished, diverse, and densely populated.  This atmosphere lends itself to the creation of numerous educational and peer to peer engagement opportunities.


Our membership mix also provides the opportunity for young professionals to interact with senior members of the exhibitions and events community often.  From free networking events to first-timer and monthly sponsored educational lunches, our chapter recognizes the importance of fostering the next generation of leaders. 

Benefiting from having such a large membership situated in a geographically small area our members stays connected locally and develops strong, significant relationships. Simply put, if you are engaged with the Washington, DC IAEE Chapter and you are attending a national IAEE evet you will always have a friend in the room.  We also offer scholarships and opportunities through the chapter to take advantage of national opportunities and advance their personal goals within IAEE.
