Steven Williams

Steven Williams is currently a Senior Technical Building Specialist at Farsight NZ, where they address compliance challenges and provide strategic solutions to both public and private sector clients. Prior to this, they served as the Building Control Services Manager at Masterton District Council, overseeing a team while managing substantial financial and regulatory responsibilities. With experience as a Building Services Team Leader at Carterton District Council and a Project Manager at Wormald, Steven has a rich background in building compliance, project management, and technical leadership. They hold a BBSc in Project Management from Victoria University of Wellington and are pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management from Open Polytechnic of NZ. Additionally, Steven's early career included service as an Electronics Technician in the New Zealand Army, where they completed an apprenticeship in electronics and radar.
