John Cieply

John Cieply has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. John started their career as a Software Engineer at Raytheon in 1983, where they managed website projects and maintained the internet firewall. In 1999, they worked as a Product Development Engineer at Adelphia Cable, managing internet customers and ensuring timely deployment of internet orders. John then served as an IT Manager at Woodcraft Industries from 2002 to 2014, developing technology solutions and intranet systems. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as an IT Manager at the State Theatre, overseeing computer systems and network operations. John also worked as an instructor at the South Hills School of Business & Technology from 2008 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Hyperion, LLC as a Software Engineer, where they developed a point of sale system and a corporate customer portal. In 2019, they became the Senior Director of Development, Support, and Services at Adaptive Computing. Most recently, they joined iA in November 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer. Throughout their career, John Cieply has also worked as an independent consultant, specializing in web, database, and software development.
