Athanasios Petrou

Dr. Athanasios Petrou is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the European University Cyprus and serves as the Director of the Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, and Surgical Oncology Department at the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus and the Athens Medical Centre. Dr. Petrou completed Higher Surgical Training at the University of Athens Medical School in 2009, followed by clinical fellowships in HPB Surgery and Surgical Oncology. They hold a Master of Science in HPB Surgery and a PhD in Medicine from the University of Athens. As a prominent figure in the field, Dr. Petrou has authored over 100 publications and actively contributes to various medical associations.
