Tyra Bell

Tyra Bell possesses extensive experience in the arts and design field, currently serving as Prop Shop Supervisor at the University of Maryland since February 2023 and as a Stagehand with IATSE since January 2023. Bell has held various positions, including Assistant Display Coordinator at Anthropologie since June 2018, and previously worked as Props Technician at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater in late 2022. Additional experience includes roles as Sign Artist at Trader Joe's and Prop Designer at Sitar Arts Center. Bell also has a background in administrative support and internships in prop/set design and teaching woodshop at Camp Cobbossee. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Furniture Design, Bell also attended the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design for pre-college coursework in painting.
