Daniel Beckmann, PhD

Daniel Beckmann, PhD has worked in a variety of roles since 2002. Daniel began their career as a Washington Reporter for Billings Gazette Communications in 2002. Daniel then moved to Australia to work as a Line Producer for Australian News Channel (Sky News) in the same year. In 2003, they returned to the United States and worked as a Producer/Reporter, Off Air Reporter/Editorial Assistant, and News Assistant for ABC News.com. In 2007, they became a Creative Executive-Vanguard for Current TV. In 2008, they worked as a Director-Supporter Generated Video for Obama for America and Co Founder, Managing Director for IB5k. In 2009, they became Founder, Managing Director--Lead Business Development for Schmooru. In 2012, they founded Correlate.io, where they served as Founder, President. In 2015, they founded Soapboxx, where they served as Founder, CEO. Finally, in 2017, they became Co Founder, CEO of Foodshed.io.

Daniel Beckmann, PhD completed their education history with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Media Philosophy from the European Graduate School - Switzerland between 2004 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a MSJ in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University between 2001 and 2002. Daniel also earned a BA in Political Science and American Culture Studies from Washington University in St. Louis between 1998 and 2001.
