Igor Shtern

Director PMO Information Systems at iBasis

Igor Shtern has extensive work experience in project and program management, as well as leadership roles in the information technology field. Igor started their career as a Researcher at Bar-Ilan University, where they developed analytical methods and software solutions for mathematical physics. Igor then joined Amdocs, where they worked as a Project Leader, Senior Project Manager, and Director and Program Manager. During their time at Amdocs, Igor managed client relationships, developed business proposals, and implemented various client-server solutions. Igor also built and directed production support services teams. Currently, Igor is the Director of PMO & Information Systems at iBasis, where they oversee project management, IT planning, budgeting, risk management, and compliance. Igor has established an enterprise-level PMO organization and implemented a project management framework. Overall, Igor Shtern has demonstrated expertise in managing projects, driving strategic initiatives, and implementing IT solutions.

Igor Shtern holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University. Igor also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Mathematics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. In addition to their formal education, Igor has obtained several certifications including Agile Software Development, Cybersecurity and Its Ten Domains, Scrum Team Building Using Games and Interactive Tools, AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
