Manpreet Singh has over 20 years of work experience at iBASIS. Manpreet started in 2001 as a Senior Network Systems Engineer, where they designed the first IP-based next-generation voice architecture. Manpreet also certified Cisco and Nextone SBCs and worked on the patented Path Engine solution for network quality-based routing. In 2006, they became a Senior Manager, overseeing signaling architecture and network management systems. Manpreet managed teams and designed solutions for voice and mobile solutions, including integration of GCS platform for US number portability routing and LTE-based signaling solutions using Oracle DRAs. From 2013 to 2015, Manpreet served as a Senior Manager in Signaling and IP Architecture & Network Management Systems, where they designed the network virtual backbone and created an IPX compliant GRX network for data roaming. Manpreet also led the setup and testing of the first international VoLTE roaming using IMS core between KPN and China Mobile. From 2015 to 2020, Manpreet held the position of Director in Signaling Architecture, SW Development, and Innovation Engineering. Manpreet designed the next-generation SIP core architecture, removing the H323 protocol from the network core and patented the new design. Manpreet also patented a codec selection algorithm for optimal transcoding in a voice network. Most recently, they have been Vice President of Engineering for IoT, Voice, Mobile & Innovation, starting in March 2022. In this role, they have been leading a team to deploy the Remote Sim Provisioning platform and integrate it with iBASIS's eSIM switching backend. Manpreet has also integrated with the hosted SMSC and SMS Hub and implemented AMQ-based notification platforms.

Manpreet Singh completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University from 1995 to 1999. Manpreet then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, Manpreet obtained a certification in Bentley Leadership Programs from Bentley University - McCallum Graduate School of Business, although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
