Manuela Simões

Manuela Simões has several years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Manuela most recently worked at iBASIS as the Managing Director Portugal / Sr. Director Business Operations. Prior to that, they held the position of Managing Director Portugal / VP Operations & Partnership at TOFANE GLOBAL. Manuela also served as Head of Product Development & Country Manager at Altice Group's Altice International Carrier, where they were responsible for developing new products and services and supporting the development of International and Roaming Traffic business. Before that, they worked at Portugal Telecom as the Head of Roaming and International Traffic, Senior Consultant, and Marketing Voice Director in PT Comunicações International Wholesale. Manuela began their career at Marconi - Portugal, where they held roles as the MARCONI National Wholesale Product Manager and Submarine Cables Technical Specialist and Project Coordinator.

Manuela Simões obtained a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications from the Universidade de Coimbra. Manuela pursued this degree from 1985 to 1990. Later, in 2003, Manuela completed a Post Graduation in Telecommunication Management from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Manuela'sfield of study for this program was Management in Telecommunication.
