Ute Mercker

Ute Mercker has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Since 1997, they have been working at IBB Ventures, where they currently hold the position of Investment Director / Prokuristin. At IBB Ventures, Ute is responsible for the Health Care Team and portfolio companies.

In addition to their role at IBB Ventures, Ute has served as a Board Member for several companies, including Selfapy GmbH, Aignostics, Eternygen GmbH, M-sense Migräne by Newsenselab, and OMEICOS Therapeutics GmbH. Ute has also been a Mentor at Level 20 DACH and Startupbootcamp Digital Health.

Furthermore, Ute has been a Member of the Helmholtz Enterprise Fachjury at Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft / Helmholtz Association. Ute was also part of the Investment Decision Committee (IDC) at EU Malaria Fund Berlin from May 2020 to September 2021.

Ute Mercker attended the Freie Universität Berlin from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in Business Management, specifically a Dipl.-Kffr. / MBA.
