Aidan Sweeney

Aidan Sweeney is the Head of Infrastructure & Environmental Sustainability at Ibec, Ireland’s largest business organization, where they oversee various aspects of infrastructure delivery, regulation, and planning. They serve as Vice Chair of Business at the OECD’s Governance and Regulatory Policy Committee and are involved in several strategic committees for Dublin City Council. Before joining Ibec in 2008, Aidan was a Brussels-based consultant and interned with the European Union Delegation in Washington, DC. They hold a BA in History from Trinity College Dublin and an MA in Politics, Security & Integration from University College London. Aidan remains active on multiple boards, including News Four and City of Dublin ETB.
