Fiona Higgins

Fiona Higgins has extensive experience in human resources and industrial relations, currently serving as the Strategic Business Lead of the Knowledge Centre at Ibec since July 2006. In this role, Fiona oversees a Strategic Business Unit that fosters a culture of high performance and customer-centric service delivery. Previously, as Head of the Knowledge Centre, Fiona led specialized teams to provide expert support in employment, OHS, and HR matters to member companies, ensuring over 24,000 annual service interactions. Fiona's background includes positions as an IR/HR Executive advising on HR and employment law at Ibec, HR Manager at Local Press Limited, and HR Advisor at Diageo. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in French and German from University College Dublin, a Higher Diploma in Business Studies from University of Galway, a Diploma in Employment Law from the National College of Ireland, and a degree in the Skills of Mediation from Catalyst Consulting.
