Ian Long possesses extensive experience in corporate governance, data privacy, and compliance across various sectors. Currently serving at Ibec since November 2022, Ian provides targeted corporate training on governance and ESG matters. Previous roles include Risk Management Lawyer at Beauchamps LLP, Senior Expert Policy Writer at Novartis, and Data Protection Officer at Groupon, where Ian drove compliance initiatives and advised on data protection laws. With a solid foundation in regulatory compliance developed through roles at Pepper Financial Services Group and AIB Group, Ian also has experience in legal oversight from positions at Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics and Kindle Banking Systems. Ian holds multiple legal qualifications, including a Solicitor certification from the Law Society of Ireland and a Diploma in European Law from University College Dublin.
