Andreas Maragos

Andreas Maragos is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently leading the Wind Energy Resource Department at Rokas Renewables (Iberdrola Renovables) since July 2006, where involvement includes due diligence for greenfield projects and operational assets. Previously, as Wind Laboratory Quality Assurance Manager, Andreas directed the Wind Measurements Lab, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards for 35 met masts. While serving as Project Engineer, efforts were focused on the Aegean Link Project (706 MW), collaborating with various stakeholders to secure project feasibility. Prior experience at Gamesa Energiaki Hellas included managing the Environmental Management System for wind farm construction and expanding the project portfolio through the identification of greenfield sites. Andreas holds a Master of Engineering in Energy and Environmental Management from Glasgow Caledonian University and a Master of Science in Quality Assurance from Hellenic Open University, along with additional engineering degrees.
