Christopher Leach

Christopher Leach is an experienced engineering and construction professional with a focus on offshore wind projects. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Construction - Offshore at Iberdrola since October 2021, Christopher oversees a team of over 100 engineers supporting global offshore wind farm initiatives. Previous roles at Iberdrola include Project Execution Director and Project Manager for the East Anglia ONE Offshore Wind Farm, where Christopher managed various aspects of project governance and execution. Prior to joining Iberdrola, Christopher held leadership positions at GL Garrad Hassan and SLP Energy, where responsibilities included managing engineering teams and delivering services to offshore wind clients. Christopher’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Energy, Environmental Technology and Economics from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick.
