Inês Isidro

Inês A Isidro is a scientist at iBET - Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica, specializing in Systems Biotechnology for the Animal Cell Technology Unit since June 2016. Prior to this role, Inês co-founded MediaOmics in September 2011, focusing on the development of specialized culture media for microbial cell lines until May 2016. Inês also completed a PhD in the MIT-Portugal Program, contributing to the development of analytical methodologies and computational algorithms for bioprocess optimization from October 2010 to December 2015. Previous research experience includes work at ITQB-UNL, analyzing growth curves of mixed culture biofilms, and a master thesis internship at UCL, where Inês developed an automatic biological database extension for newly sequenced species. Educational achievements include advanced studies in Bioengineering Systems from MIT-Portugal Program and a Master's degree in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
