The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) represents approximately 750,000 members in both the United States and Canada who work in a wide variety of fields, including utilities, construction, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, railroads and government. IBEW Local 1340 was established in 1943 to represent area members in Hampton Roads.  We furnish thoroughly trained electricians and technicians that bring world-class construction, maintenance and installation service to every project – on time and on budget.
