Solutions for BioMicroscopy

ibidi is a leading supplier of functional, cell-based assays, and products for cell microscopy. ibidi’s extensive line of micro-Slides, -Dishes, and -Plates offers solutions for classic cell culturing, and also complex assays (e.g., angiogenesis, chemotaxis, wound healing, shear stress and flow). The company also specializes in instruments such as heating and incubation units, and a unique perfusion system for the simulation of blood vessels. All of ibidi’s products are designed with high end microscopy in mind.  

The high optical quality of the products allows microscopic cell investigations, using phase contrast or DIC, fluorescence and also confocal microscopy. The proven F-actin marker LifeAct keeps track of the development and movement of F-actin structures in living cells. 

In March 2013, ibidi was awarded the prestigious “Innovationspreis der Deutschen Wirtschaft” (German Economy Award) for their contributions to the field of cutting-edge, cell microscopy solutions. Also, in June 2016, ibidi was recognized as one of Germany’s collaborative leaders, receiving the prestigious “Germany Land of Ideas 2016” award.
