António Parada is a biologist, who graduated from the University of Porto, Portugal. They began their career at Bial as a pre-clinical pharmacologist and later managed the development of anti-parkinson and anti-convulsant projects. After earning an MBA at the Portuguese Catholic University, they established and managed the technology transfer office at IBMC and served as its General Manager. Parada has held various leadership roles, including CEO of Fairjourney Biologics and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EMBLEM, and they have contributed extensively to the field with 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Their achievements also include serving as vice-president of the European Association of technology transfer and founding the Biocodex group.
