Riz Mohammed

Riz Mohammed is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in sustainability consulting and financial management. Currently serving as Finance Director at IBIS Consulting since September 2017, Riz has contributed to enhancing environmental and social performance for clients across Africa. Prior to this role, Riz held the position of Finance Manager at IBIS Consulting and also served as Finance Controller at ERM Sub Saharan Africa, providing financial oversight for a leading global environmental consultancy. Early career experience includes serving as National Credit Controller at ERM South Africa, with responsibilities in cash management and credit risk assessments, and as Office Manager at Investassure, focusing on client services and compliance. Riz holds a Bcompt degree in Accounting from UNISA and is currently pursuing further education with The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, complemented by a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Witwatersrand.
