Julia Thompson

Julia Thompson, PT, DPT, CMTPT, currently serves as Facility Manager and Physical Therapist at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute since September 2020, and previously held the role of Assistant Facility Manager. Julia gained teaching experience as a Cardiovascular and Pulmonary/Critical Care Teaching Assistant at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science from February to May 2020. Julia contributed to research as a Graduate Research Assistant at the same university from August 2017 to July 2019, focusing on biomechanical analysis related to total ankle arthroplasty. Julia's athletic background includes competing as a Division 1 beach volleyball student athlete at Florida State University from August 2013 to May 2017. Julia earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University.
