Mark Mikhael

Mark Mikhael, MD, FAAOS, serves as a Spine Surgeon at Illinois Bone and Joint Institute and NorthShore University HealthSystem since August 2011, specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery, managing degenerative spine conditions, and performing complex spinal reconstruction for both adults and children. In addition to clinical practice, Mark Mikhael holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthopedic Surgery at The University of Chicago. Previous experience includes a Spine Surgery Fellowship at UCLA Health and an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Mayo Clinic. Mark Mikhael earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science with highest distinction in Biology from the University of Michigan.
