Samuel Cuya is an occupational therapist with a passion for health and wellness, currently working at the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute since 2023. With extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and acute care settings, they have previously held positions at NorthShore University HealthSystem and Mayo Clinic. Samuel has also contributed to the University of Illinois at Chicago as an Assistant Cheerleading Coach and a Student Research Assistant. They hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
